The N.S.S. Volunteers of Velammal Mat.Hr.Sec. School,
West Mugappair and Medical Faculty of Srinivas Eye Hospital, Mugappair had organized Eye Screening Camp for students from 2nd to 6th February 2009 and Free Eye & Diabetic screening Camp for Parents on 7th Feb’09 (Saturday). Mr. C. Jeysankar, Principal of Velammal Mat.Hr.Sec.School & Dr. S. Kumaran, Director & Opthalmic Surgeon of Srinvas Eye Hospital inaugurated the Camp. The service-minded N.S.S volunteers organized the Camp which was more beneficial to the students Community. The parents and the public availed this golden opportunity and were benefited. Thus, knowing the values & importance of Health and especially “Eye”, the camp proved to be a better vision to the society. In the whole the Camp was a great success under the able guidance of the N.S.S Programme Officer Mr. K. Kannadasan.
