The Trust

The Velammal Educational Trust was germinated in the year 1986 under the inspiring leadership of Shri. M.V. Muthuramalingam, B.E., Since then, it has been showing keen interest in providing quality education to the students from all walks of life. The trust has 8 schools, apart from an Engineering College and a Management Institute. The two self financing Colleges have been awarded the prestigious ISO 9002 certification by TUV Germany in the year 2000. The recent off spring of the Trust is the Velammal International School spread over 70 landscaped acres. It is located within 40kms of Chennai on the national highway to Kolkatta.
